The Hospice has three garden spaces:

The Retreat Garden:

Designed by Charlotte Harris, Gold Medal Winner at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, our Wellbeing Centre and the Garden Café both open up onto this beautiful garden that is also home to The Retreat, a peaceful meditation space that was funded by The Woking Asian Business Community.

Our Tree of Life sculpture can also be found in the Retreat Garden.

The Wild Wood Garden:

Is to the rear of the building designed and planted to provide habitat and food for surrounding wildlife it has a large bug hotel and water feature that was moved from the original Woking Hospice in Hill View Road.

The garden was renamed the Wild Wood Garden following a visit from local music legend Paul Weller after his 1993 album Wild Wood.

The Encircling Garden:

Follows the perimeter of the hospice’s grounds.

All of our gardens and regularly maintained by a wonderful team of volunteers who we are incredibly grateful to for keeping these areas so well looked after and looking beautiful.
