Local Hospice Lottery is a hospice owned collaboration. By sharing one prize fund and set of administration costs, players can benefit from a larger prize fund (the biggest of any hospice lottery) and more money can be raised for Woking & Sam Beare Hospice than if we ran our own lottery.

Woking & Sam Beare Hospice is one of a number of hospices throughout Great Britain supported by Local Hospice Lottery. Local Hospice Lottery will give between 60% and 80% of profits from individuals playing in support of Woking & Sam Beare Hospice to Woking & Sam Beare Hospice. This is expected to be at least £1,200,000 over five years from March 2024.

To help to recruit players, a team of paid fundraisers will be working in the local area both door-to-door and at venues. Each member of the team will be wearing a uniform and will have a Local Hospice Lottery photo identity card with them.
