How our home hospice service works

We have a number of fully qualified volunteer therapists who are managed by a Complementary Therapies Coordinator with palliative care experience and who has qualifications in massage and reflexology. Our aim is to work with you and your carer to enable you to maintain your independence and to provide you with the best quality of life while you are managing the impact of your condition.

We offer a range of therapies that includes, for example:

  • Occupational therapy
  • Physiotherapy
  • Nutritional and dietary advise and support
  • Speech and language therapy
  • Hydrotherapy and bathing services
  • Support groups
  • Wellbeing masterclasses such as art or cookery

Our therapy team is based and operates from the Bradbury Wellbeing Centre at Woking Hospice but some of our therapies can also be provided in your own home. Your CNS will coordinate this as part of your individual care plan.
