Donor and supporter data

Woking & Sam Beare Hospice values your support and respects your privacy. Under the Data Protection Act 1998 and the introduction of GPDR, Woking & Sam Beare Hospice is unable to share any information we hold on our supporter database with a third party. This includes anyone who signs up to an event, makes a donation, is fundraising for us, partners with us, does our lottery and/or raffle, makes an online purchase or who buys in our shops. By law we are not permitted to share any data or information with a third party that we hold unless consent has been given or their is a lawful reason why we would have to.

We may share you details with partners; e.g. printers who are authorised to work on our behalf. They will destroy your data after the work is completed, will not be permitted to contact you in anyway and must keep your data secure.

There may be times when we are legally obligated to share data without consent as requested by a regulatory body; the result of a formal court or police order; or where a crime has been committed.

We promise to keep your details safe, secure and we will treat your details confidentially and in accordance with data protection legislation.
