Trustee
I have been a Trustee at the Hospice since 2018, and my area of expertise is within the Governance Committee as well as a sub-committee incorporating Trustee development and oversight.
As a Managing Director at Barclays Bank, I’ve spent my career in wealth management and
investments after graduating from the University of Birmingham with a degree in money, banking and finance. Having been with the bank for more than twenty-eight years, I have held various senior leadership positions, including as CEO of the Investment Management and Asset Management subsidiaries. As such, I have extensive experience in designing and executing transformational change, motivating teams to deliver at pace and creating an inclusive culture to attract, retain, and develop staff.
My motivation to support the Hospice came from a desire to give back to the community in which I’ve lived for over twenty years – I live in Weybridge with my husband, three daughters, and the family Labradoodle. I’m grateful that should myself, my family, friends or neighbours ever need the best possible end-of-life care, the fabulous staff and volunteers at the Hospice will be there to do just that.
