“The Retreat” at Woking & Sam Beare Hospice funded by Sharaz Homes
On Tuesday 17th October Mr Samir Hussain from Sharaz Homes Limited and his family visited Woking Hospices new state-of-the-art building in Goldsworth Park Centre, Woking. They were welcomed by the charity’s Chief Executive Jayne Cooper who showed the Hussain family around the new purpose built facility.
Mr Hussain and his family have kindly donated over £60,000 to the hospice to fund the build of “The Retreat”, a peaceful sanctuary in the hospice gardens which will be used as a multi faith room.
“My family and I are very pleased and proud to have funded the building of the Retreat at the hospice for the Patients their family and their friends. This is a beautiful place and my family hope it will be somewhere that will bring considerable comfort to many families.” Mr Hussain commented
Jayne Cooper, CEO for Woking & Sam Beare Hospices, commented: “I cannot thank Mr Hussain and Sharaz Homes enough for funding the retreat and the support as a whole the Woking Asian Community have given to the Hospice. We are a patient lead charity who are committed to meeting the needs of all our communities across North West Surrey, whether this is as an in-patient or delivered in our patients’ homes through our community teams. We could not do this without the generosity of our local community – thank you.”
