Light up a Life services for 2022
Each year the Hospice holds Light up a Life remembrance services in the local community and this year we are especially pleased to offer these in person services again.
Open to everyone to attend, even if your loved one was not cared for by the hospice. It is a time to remember those no longer with us with others who are going through similar personal journeys.
We have three services
Sunday 27th November at St Andrews Church, Goldsworth Park at 4pm
Thursday 1st December at Winstson Churchill School at 6pm
Sunday 4th December at St Dunstan's Church, Woking at 6pm
We are asking anyone who would like to attend to please register to help us with planning for the events, there is also an option to share the name of the loved one's you are remembering and for their names to appear on our memory screen during the minutes silence.
Light refreshments will be provided after all of the services.
The Memory Tree will be in the Hospice Café from the 1st December. all are welcome to visit to add a star to the tree in memory of a loved one. Download your Memory Star here or visit our memory page where you can remember your loved one by adding a dedication and photo.
We are delighted to be able to hold our annual Light up a Life services in person once again and we would like to thank St Andrews Church and St Dunstan's Church for welcoming us back this year and to the Winston Churchill School for allowing us to hold our non-religious service there for the first time.
We really hope you are able to join us as we come together to remember and celebrate our loved ones.
