London Marathon 2025

27 April

8:00 am - 4:00 pm

Join the Woking & Sam Beare Hospice Team at the 45th TCS London Marathon - Sunday 27th April 2025.

Take on the challenge of this iconic marathon, running 26.2 miles through the closed roads of London.

The London Marathon first took place in 1981 and has become one of the most popular marathons in the world. The route takes in many of London's best landmarks including Buckingham Palace, The Cutty Sark, Tower Bridge and Canary Wharf.

There is always a big demand for the limited places we have available so please be aware registering does not guarantee your place. When completing the form provide us with as much information as possible on why you would like to run for us and how you will reach your fundraising target which is a minimum of £2,500.

We will support you all the way through your marathon training and fundraising journey.

Don't forget to enter the ballot, which closes on Friday 26th April and will be announced in July, if you are lucky enough to get a ballot place we would still love you to run for us as this helps us to have a bigger team on the day raising even more vital funds for the hospice!

Each of our London Marathon Runners will receive:

  • A personalised Woking & Sam Beare Hospice running vest
  • Support from our Challenge Events team throughout your training and fundraising journey
  • Meet the team, a welcome get together for all our runners at the hospice
  • What's app team with support, hints and tips on the weeks leading up to the event
  • Hospice Team support on race day

The London Marathon is not just a race; it's a journey of resilience, determination, and hope. With each step, we are raising funds for the Hospice and spreading love mile after mile.
